Featuring a 16 megapixel image sensor and TruePic VIII processor, the E-M10 Mark III comes with the latest in-body 5-axis image stabilisation and support for 4K movie recording. The effective stabilisation enables users to record blur-free 4K video when the camera is hand-held in a wide range of lighting conditions. The new camera also features an AP (Advanced Photo) mode that accesses four camera assist shooting modes, including Live Composite and Multiple Exposure. High-speed AF performance is ensured with 121- AF points across the sensor area plus touch operations to capture any subject. Continuous shooting is supported at up to 8.6 frames/second and the E-M10 Mark III provides easy smartphone connection and sharing via built-in Wi-Fi.

A Shortcut button on the left-hand side of the camera can instantly display the shooting menu, and quickly set or switch shooting modes. Four settings (ISO, flash,  drive and focus) are assigned to the directional buttons on the arrow pad allowing for quick and easy access to core camera settings. A customisable Function button allows users to add a frequently-used function for quick access.
