Olympus will release updates for OM-D and PEN cameras to fix an issue that affected autofocusing with the Panasonic Leica DG Elmarit 200mm f/2.8 Power O.I.S. (H-ES200) lens.
The update will relate to all models in the OM-D and PEN ranges. The first cameras to be updated will be the E-M1 Mark II, E-M5 Mark II and PEN-F, for which the new firmware is expected to become available next February. The E-M1, E-M10 Mark II, E-M10 Mark III, E-PL7and E-PL8 can expect updates in the second quarter of 2018, while the remaining models will be updated before the end of the year.
