February 9, 2011: Olympus Imaging Australia has launched two new compact digital cameras, the VR-330 and SZ-10.
The VR-330 has a 12.5x extra-wide-angle optical zoom lens (24mm-300mm equivalent), a 14-megapixel sensor with Dual Image Stabilisation and a 3.0 inch LCD screen. It also features 720p HD video with HDMI Control playback, a 3D photo option, 7 Magic Art Filters, Intelligent Auto Mode (which adjusts camera settings for you), and Shadow Adjustment Technology, which compensates for extreme contrast where shadowed areas are underexposed and lack visible detail. This technology enables users to preview and capture images that have the same contrast as those seen with the naked eye.
The SZ-10 is a fully featured super-slim ultrazoom model with an 18x, 28-504mm wide-angle zoom lens, 3.0-inch high-resolution LCD and 720p HD video. In addition it features 8 Magic Filters which can also be applied to HD movie capture, Eye-fi card compatibility, 3D photo shooting mode, Dual Image Stabilisation, Intelligent Auto Mode, Shadow Adjustment Technology, and Olympus’ TruePic III+ Image processor for crisp, clear photos at high ISO settings.
The Olympus VR-330 is scheduled for release in Australia in April 2011 and will be available in silver and black. The Olympus SZ-10 is scheduled for release in Australia in March 2011 and will be available in silver and black. Both prices are yet to be announced. For more information, visit Olympus.com.au
