July 31, 2008: Nokia’s new 6220 Classic cameraphone comes with a 5-megapixel camera plus an advanced suite of functions for imaging, sharing and discovery.
On the imaging front, the 5-megapixel camera features Carl Zeiss optics and offers autofocusing plus a Xenon flash. It can also serve as a VGA camcorder. A one-click upload button allows easy image sharing via social websites. A second CIF camera supports video calls at a resolution of 384 x 320 pixels. Video recording and playback is available at 30 fps.
The 6220 Classic also comes with A-GPS navigation and Nokia Maps and users can view maps easily on the 2.2-inch TFT QVGA screen. Images and maps can also be displayed on a TV screen via the TV-out port. Additional features include a HSDPA data connection for fast web browsing and downloading plus a music player and RDS FM radio.
