Designed for DX-format cameras, the AF-P DX 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR is designed for wide-angle shooting and covers angles of view equivalent to 15-30mm in 35mm format. Its compact optical design includes three aspherical lens elements plus built-in Vibration Reduction (VR) that claims 3.5 stops of shake compensation. Autofocusing is driven by a stepping motor for high speed and precision and the lens has a minimum focusing distance of 22 cm with a maximum reproduction ratio of 0.17x for dramatic close-ups.
The AF-S Fisheye 8-15mm f/3.5-4.5E ED lens covers a maximum angle of view of 180 degrees with circular and full-frame effects. It boasts edge-to-edge clarity down to the minimum focusing distance of 16 cm and comes with a detachable lens hood and cap. The optical design includes two aspherical lens elements to effectively reduce sagittal coma flare plus Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass elements that minimise colour fringing caused by lateral chromatic aberration. Nano Crystal Coating minimises flare and ghosting and the lens is protected with a fluorine coat for easy maintenance.
The new AF-S 28mm f/1.4E ED has an angle of view similar to that of a human eye and can be used for portraits and landscapes. Its optical design includes two ED glass elements which help to reduce colour fringing caused by axial chromatic aberration, along with three aspherical lens elements to minimise sagittal coma flare. The Nano Crystal Coat not only eliminates ghosting and flare but acts as an anti-reflective mechanism, while a fluorine coat applied to the extreme front and rear elements repels dust, water and dirt. This lens can meet the imaging needs of professional photographers and advanced amateurs shooting in both FX- and DX-format.
The AF-P DX 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR, AF-S Fisheye 8-15mm f/3.5-4.5E ED and AF-S 28mm f/1.4E ED will be available from June 2017. For more information, visit https://mynikonlife.com.au.
