June 3, 2010: Nikon Australia has started a new Nikon School, which offers hands-on classes in various aspects of digital photography.
Sessions will be held at leading venues in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Each class will feature dedicated hands-on workshops that make the most of each location’s close proximity to popular landmarks, botanical gardens and city vistas. Photographers will have plenty of opportunity to practice new techniques under expert guidance.

The series will begin with an Introduction to DSLR class on Saturday, 26 June, 2010. Designed for newcomers to digital SLR photography or anyone looking to refresh their DSLR knowledge, it will cover everything from basic layout of the camera through to in-camera post production methods. Further classes will be added from August, offering a range of options for camera enthusiasts and more experienced shooters to improve their knowledge and expertise while exploring new techniques.
All Nikon School classes are scheduled from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays. To ensure personalised instruction and maximise student participation, enrollment will be limited to 15 students per class. The class fee ($249, incl. GST) will cover the four-part lecture program and hands-on training for the full day. Students will require a digital SLR camera and basic lens to participate. A complete schedule, registration and payment details can be found at www.mynikonlife.com.au.
