July 22, 2006: A ‘teaser’ announcing a new 10.2-megapixel DSLR camera has been posted on the Nikon Global website with a promise that more details will be revealed in 20 days.
The announcement, which can be found at http://nikonimaging.com/global/, claims the new camera’s design integrates “quality and affordability to meet the demands of passionate photo enthusiasts”. Sounds like a competitor to the Sony A100 model, which is due to go on sale in Australia shortly – and maybe a replacement for the aging D70s model.
