Nikon Australia has announced the Z50II mirrorless camera designed for “content creators”.
Main features of the Nikon Z250II (APS-C, DX format) are:
– Improved autofocus and performance with the upgraded EXPEED 7 processing engine with enhanced AF-A mode that auto-adjusts the focus settings based on subject movement and composition changes.
– Enhanced video capabilities – 4K UHD video recording with 5.6K oversampling, video self-timer function and USB streaming (UVC/UAC).
– Updated EVF with a brightness of 1000 cd/m², which is roughly double the brightness of the original Z50.
– Supports Imaging Recipes presets for different imaging styles. Using Nikon Imaging Cloud, users can create and save custom settings recipes and get access to free downloadable colour presets from Nikon and other photographers.
– New Picture Control button to switch between different styles.

Nikon has also launched the MC-DC3 Remote Cord, compatible with the Z50II and useful for long exposure photography or remote shooting. The remote cord can be used for continuous shooting or long exposures.
