: Two new models will be added to Nikon’s Coolpix line-up in May/June.
First to be released is the Coolpix 5200, which has a 5.1-megapixel (effective) sensor and specially developed, 7.8 – 23.4mm 3x Zoom-Nikkor lens (equivalent to a 38-114mm lens in 35mm format). Featuring aspherical elements and an ED glass element, it retracts into the slim, aluminium camera body. It will be followed in June by the Coolpix 4200, which has a 4-megapixel sensor but is otherwise similar.
