Nikon has released a ‘development announcement’ providing information about its next DSLR camera, the anticipated D850.
A successor to the popular D810, according to Nikon’s press release the D850 will represent ‘the next generation in full-frame, high-resolution, high-speed digital SLR cameras’ and should appeal to ‘aspiring and professional photographers, as well as enthusiasts who capture landscapes, commercial sports, fashion, weddings and multimedia content’. No other information has been provided on sensor resolution, body design, ISO range, video capabilities or possible release date and pricing. Details are promised at an as yet unspecified date.
