The Zeiss Milvus 1.4/35 features a near-zero level of chromatic aberration, even at full aperture.
With 14 elements in 11 groups, the new lens features “outstanding edge-to-edge imagery detail”, making it especially suited to portraiture, architecture and landscape photography.
All Milvus lenses feature a T* ® antireflective coating and a special pitch-black lacquer. Light traps in mechanical components and the specially designed surfaces help prevent reflections.
Each focal length has its own optical design, with special types of glass displaying anomalous partial dispersion which reduces colour fringing at high-contrast edges of subjects.
Milvus lenses are designed to make full use of the performance offered in high-resolution cameras.
