With a multiplying factor of 1.4x, the Fujinon Teleconverter XF1.4X TC WR can extend the telephoto area of some X Mount lenses and is an ideal partner for the XF 50-140mm f/2.8R LM OIS WR lens. Weather and dust resistant, it is usable at temperatures as low as -10 °C. The optical design comprises seven elements in three groups and the lens features excellent aberration suppression, despite a loss of approximately one stop in light transmission. Once mounted, the camera displays and records information, reflecting the change in aperture and focal length. Live View Contrast Detection autofocus is supported and accurate focusing with a shallow depth of field is also possible thanks to the AF performed by the image sensor. RRP for this lens is AU$649. It is due for release in November.

The slim Fujinon XF 35mm f/2 R WR is a standard focal length prime lens with a good balance between high image quality and compact size. Its optical construction consists of nine elements and six groups, including two aspherical elements. According to Fujifilm, this lens can achieve an autofocus time of just 0.08 seconds. Measuring just 45.9mm in length with a diameter of 60mm, it is ideal for portrait, street or reportage photography.
There are eight seals on the lens barrel to keep out rain, dust and splashes of water when shooting outdoors. The metal exterior of the lens ensures durability for a wide range of shooting situations and enables it to be operated easily with damp or gloved hands. It is also weather and dust resistant and can work in temperatures as low as -10 °C. This lens is supplied with a lightweight and compact circular lens hood. A second classical and stylish metal hood (LH-XF35-2) is available as an optional accessory. Both lens hoods allow the front lens cap to be used while attached. This lens is due to go on sale in November at an RRP of AU$599.
Fujifilm has also announced a firmware update for all X Series camera bodies as well the XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR lens, in order to provide full compatibility.
