Metro (RRP $65) is the compact version of the RStrap, recommended for photographers who use the Micro 4/3 cameras, mirrorless systems, more serious compact cameras, and various interchangeable lens systems. The Metro strap will also accommodate entry level DLSR partial frame cameras. Measuring 160 cm in length, it has a top side of ballistic nylon and an underside foam pad with knitted mesh. Folded, it occupies very little storage space in a shoot bag or carry-on luggage. The strap includes a FastenR (FR-3) and ConnectR (CR-2).
The new Wrist Strap (RRP $29.95) combines BlackRapid’s patented ConnectR (CR-2) hook with a comfortable and secure wrist strap. Designed as add-on for BlackRapid’s R-Strap systems; it connects to any camera with an existing BlackRapid FastenR (sold separately). The strong wrist strap is smooth and has an integrated corrosion-resistant anodized ConnectR hook. The carabineer style hook has a twist lock on the gate, for added security.

Both straps are available for pre-order now at specialist photo equipment retailers.
