The Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) has announced three new key appointments to its national office, which is based in Melbourne.

 

September 17, 2010: The Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) has announced three new key appointments to its national office, which is based in Melbourne.
Randal Armstrong has been appointed as AIPP Membership Manager and will focus on implementing continuous improvement in the level of service, benefits and communications provided to all AIPP members. Graduating with a Diploma of Visual Arts in Photography from the Alberta College of Art and Design (Canada), Randal moved to Australia in 1995 and has successfully operated his own studio, ARM photographic. He has also served as Course Coordinator for the Diploma of Photoimaging at Melbourne’s International Design School.
Dijana Risteska takes up the position of AIPP National Secretary and will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and overseeing the enormous behind the scenes administrative tasks required for a large industry body like the AIPP. She is currently furthering her studies with a photography course at Photographic Imaging College.
For more than fifteen years, AIPP Sponsorship and Events Manager, Joel Strickland, has been involved in photography. Born in Hobart, he has run his own freelance photography business while working in a local camera store, volunteered with photographers at the Sydney Olympics and then worked as a full time sports photographer in Melbourne. He has been involved with the Victorian Council of the AIPP for more than four years.
