September 5, 2007: SanDisk has boosted the capacities of two cards in its high-performance Ultra II line-up and released a compact Multi Card ExpressCard Adapter that supports fast transfer speeds from memory cards to notebook computers. The 8GB SanDisk Ultra II Memory Stick PRO Duo is designed for recording high-definition videos and high-resolution still images on Sony digital cameras and camcorders. Both the 4GB SanDisk Ultra II SDHC Plus card and the 8GB SanDisk Ultra II Memory Stick PRO Duo card are expected to be available in Australia in mid-Q4, with pricing to be confirmed. Designed to extend the functionality of notebook computers without memory card slots, SanDisk’s new Multi Card ExpressCard Adapter fits into the ExpressCard slot now found in most new notebooks, and accepts six card formats: SD, SDHC, MultiMediaCard, MMCplus, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo and Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo.
