Available from today with an RRP of AU$2499, the 31.5-inch UD970 provides the colour accuracy required by film, design and photography professionals. Featuring plane-line switching (PLS) technology (which was introduced with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet), this monitor is capable of reproducing 99.5 percent of the Adobe RGB colour gamut. Each screen leaves the factory calibrated to deliver optimal levels of colour accuracy, picture quality and clarity. UHD picture quality is combined with a 16-bit look-up table (LUT) for more detailed tonal transitions and true 10-bit colour depth which reproduces 1 billion colours.
The UD970 also comes with eight pre-set colour modes to meet the demands of almost any project. Two different single-colour modes enable users to display two images simultaneously on one screen for easy colour comparisons. The UD970 integrates a quad picture-by-picture (PBP) function which supports up to four FHD windows on one screen simultaneously. A dual windows PBP function enables the monitor to be connected to two PCs and have two individual native resolutions showing. Additionally, a separate picture-in-picture (PiP) 2.0 function displays a separate PiP content feed on screen for efficient multitasking.
The screen supports a wide-viewing angle of 178 degrees and can be tilted, swivelled and angled both horizontally and vertically.A VESA-supported wall mount and bezel hood ensures easy screen adjustments. Connectivity options include two DisplayPort 1.2 ports, a HDMI 1.4 port, a Mini DP to DP Gender port, two USB 3.0 ports and two supercharging USB 3.0 ports.
