Lexar has launched two new suites of professional-quality memory cards with fast transfer speeds for capturing high-resolution images and video clips.

The new Lexar Professional 2933x XQD 2.0 card is the fastest XQD card on the market with read speeds up to 440MB per second. Accompanying it is the new Professional 1400x XQD 2.0 card that offers read speeds up to 210MB per second. Both cards will be available in a range of capacities that are compatible with the new Lexar Professional Workflow XR2 (XQD 2.0 USB 3.0 reader), which is a recent addition to Lexar’s Professional Workflow line. The new cards and reader will have the following RRPs:
– Lexar Professional 2933x XQD 2.0 card: AU$932, NZ$1026 (128GB), AU$497, NZ$547 (64GB), AU$269, NZ$269 (32GB)
– Lexar Professional 1400x XQD 2.0 card: AU$290, NZ$319 (64GB), AU$186, NZ$205 (32GB)
– Lexar Professional Workflow XR2 (XQD 2.0 USB 3.0 reader): AU$93, NZ$102

Two new products have also been added to Lexar’s CFast memory card line: the Lexar Professional 3600x CFast 2.0 card and the Lexar Professional 3500x CFast 2.0 card. Both are designed to capture high-quality 4K video and address the performance standards and capabilities of next-generation cinema-grade video cameras. The Lexar Professional 3600x CFast 2.0 card is specifically optimised for ARRI movie cameras and supports a read transfer speed up to 540MB per second (3600x). The Lexar Professional 3500x CFast 2.0 card replaces the Lexar Professional 3400x CFast 2.0 and provides read transfer speed up to 525MB per second (3500x). Both cards include a lifetime copy of Image Rescue software and come with a limited lifetime warranty. The Lexar Professional 3600x CFast 2.0 cards will be available for purchase this month at RRPs of AU$1279, NZ$1409 (256GB) and AU$685, NZ$755 (128GB). The Lexar Professional 3500x CFast 2.0 cards go on sale in November for RRPs of AU$1279, NZ$1409 (256GB), AU$685, NZ$755 (128GB), AU$370, NZ$408 (64GB) and AU$220, NZ$244 (32GB).
