Manfrotto’s PIXI mini tripod is solidly built and supports cameras from smart-phone size to entry-level DSLRs. (Source: Manfrotto.)
Manufactured from stainless steel and Adapto premium polymer, it has rubberised feet to provide a secure and slip-free base on any surface. With closed legs, PIXI transforms into a comfortable video grip to provide steadiness when shooting video on a camera. The simple one touch button to lock and unlock the ball head enables fast and easy camera positioning.
The universal ¼-inch screw thread enables PIXI to be used with a huge variety of digital devices including smart-phones (with adaptors), compact cameras, CSC and entry level DSLR cameras. For the latter, the maximum body weight supported is 650 grams and the lens is restricted to a standard 85mm non-professional type that takes the total payload to less than one kilogram.
