September 16, 2010: Lowepro has released four new camera bag and pouch designs that will suit compact digital cameras and camcorders.
The Santiago series of camera pouches is designed for ultra-compact, compact and pro-compact digicams and features a hard ribbed shell with dense EVA foam padding to provide maximum protection. An elasticized strap keeps the camera in place and a soft tricot lining protects the LCD screen and lens from scratching. Available in black, Arctic Blue and grey, these pouches come with dual zipper pulls, a low-profile belt loop and detachable shoulder strap. Prices range from $26 to $32.

The new Munich 100 bag suits most compact camcorders and many popular long-zoom digicams. Features include a perforated front panel embedded with impact-resistant PE board and a removable padded divider. Interior slash and zippered pockets provide space for memory cards, a spare battery and ID or credit cards. A removable shoulder strap is provided, in addition to a convenient grab handle. RRP is $40.

The Munich pouch series comes in three sizes to accommodate popular digicam sizes. Available in black, black and red and black and silver, these pouches have reinforced padding and storage for small accessories. An integrated belt loop makes for easy carrying and no-drop gusset construction secures the contents of the pouch. RRPs range from $21 to $24.

The Adventura Ultra Zoom 100 is purpose-built for ultra-zoom digicams and features an adjust-to-fit design with a removable padded divider and cut-away opening. A back slash pocket provides secure storage for a mobile phone or MP3 player while internal pockets are provided for memory cards, a spare battery. This bag is available in black for an RRP of $36.
