: Olympus will adopt a new logo for its consumer products from today. The company has unveiled its new branding device, the Olympus Precision Optics Marque (shown here), which has been developed from the “O” in Olympus, and is designed to position the company among the leaders in precision optics technology with both retailers and consumers. The new Olympus Precision Optics Marque, which designed by DesignWorks and has been developed both in two-dimensional and animated form for all communication mediums. It will be used as an extension of the mother brand identity across all levels of communication; including Television, Print, Website, POS, and broader marketing communications. Coinciding with the introduction of the Precision Optics Marque, Olympus has announced a special Olympus Gift with Purchase promotion, where every consumer who purchases a Mju 300 and Mju 410 between 1 May and 30 June 2003 will receive a Quill Pen valued over $100.
