AgfaPhoto, the independent company that was formed last year from the Consumer Imaging Department of the Agfa-Gevaert group, has unveiled a new trademark logo.

April 4, 2005: AgfaPhoto, the independent company that was formed last year from the Consumer Imaging Department of the Agfa-Gevaert group, has unveiled a new trademark logo.
Consisting of a red dot with silver border in front of the company name written in black and grey, it represents the “sensor dot” which has marked innovative Agfa technology since the late 1960s. This mark first appeared on Agfa’s electronic cameras, where it indicated technology to eliminate camera shake. It now represents values which are the foundation of the AgfaPhoto business: innovative technology, commitment to optimum picture quality and simplicity of operation.
The new logo will be used in combination with the existing Agfa rhombus until the beginning of 2006, after which all AgfaPhoto products will bear the new logo.
