The new EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens is Canon’s first ultra wide-angle EF lens with an Optical Image Stabiliser that provides three stops of shake compensation. Canon’s near-silent STM technology also ensures focus noise is suppressed during movie capture and the camera’s advanced Dynamic IS mode suppresses camera shake when shooting video on the move. Featuring high-quality optics and a new retractable design, the EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM is ideal for landscape photography and crowd shots.
The new firmware upgrade for the EOS M boosts the AF shutter speed, making One Shot AF up to 2.3x faster through a re-working of the AF Drive Control System. It will be available for downloading free of charge from the Canon website at the end of June, 2013.
