November 11, 2004: Kodak has unveiled the latest model in its LS digicam range and announced details of new mobile imaging services to help people store, share, organise and print their digital photos. ![]() The 5-megapixel EasyShare LS755 (RRP $699) camera sports a high-quality Schneider-Kreuznach C-Variogon 3x zoom lens (36-108 mm equivalent) and a large 2.5-inch, high-resolution LCD screen with 207,000 pixels. The lens retracts, making the camera pocketable and ideal for travellers and users can take advantage of 20 scene and colour modes for various shooting situations, including photographing merchandise for online auction sites (auction mode), and shooting objects moving across the field of view (panning shot mode). Other features include preview and review histogram displays, multiple white balance choices and the ability to adjust the reflectance ratio to capture greater subject detail in outdoor shots. Video clips can be recorded at VGA and QVGA resolution and the zoom lens remains functional for video capture. Image stabilisation and continuous autofocus are also available. A time-lapse video option stitches together up to 10,000 separate frames (based on available memory) and video length can reach up to 80 minutes depending on memory capacity. In-camera clip trimming is provided. The LS755 is supplied with Kodak’s new EasyShare Photo Frame Dock, which allows one-touch picture transfer to a connected computer while keeping the camera’s lithium-ion battery charged. It can also play customisable photo slideshows on the camera LCD. Details of Kodak EasyShare products are available at www.kodak.com/go/EasyShare. ![]()

Similar facilities will soon be available as an integrated service to 3 customers. In both cases, users will be able to: * Share all their digital and mobile pictures with friends and family right from their camera phone or via the web; * View all their digital pictures on the go;
* Order prints through Print@Kodak, Australia’s largest digital printing network, of any picture stored in their albums.
