Fujifilm’s new XF90mmF2 R LM WR lens features a weather resistant, lightweight and compact design, fast aperture optic, newly developed Quad Linear Motor.
The the latest addition to Fujifilm’s X-Series line-up, the Fujinon XF90mmF2 R LM WR weather resistant telephoto lens is especially suited to portrait and sports photography.
The new lens weighs in at a light 540 grams, and has a large maximum aperture with a minimum working distance of 60cm to deliver a wide shooting range.
It features a newly developed Quad Linear Motor that delivers fast, quiet, accurate autofocus with higher torque. The lens focal length is equivalent to 137mm (35mm format equivalent) and has a maximum aperture of F2.0.
The autofocus can be as fast as 0.14 seconds.
The optical construction of 11 elements in eight groups (including three ED glass elements) minimises vignetting to create ultra-sharp images with bokeh ““ even at the widest aperture of F2.0. The rounded diaphragm makes it ideal for portraiture, sport, and other applications.
The Fujinon XF90mmF2 R LM WR lens also features a weather and dust resistant structure with seven seals on the lens barrel that protect it from rain, dust and splashes of water when shooting outdoors. The lens can also tolerate temperatures as low as -10 °C.
