New Fujifilm FinePix F420 Zoom

: Fujifilm’s new FinePix F420 Zoom features a robust metal body and 4^th Generation Super CCD HR (High Resolution) technology for high quality images.
Designed for photographers who want a compact, high-resolution camera, the F420 Zoom sports a 3x optical zoom lens and offers 4.4x digital zoom, plus movie capture at 30 frames per second with sound. A Video Out socket makes it easy to view movies on a television.

With an effective resolution of 3-megapixels, the F420 Zoom can produce interpolated images with six million recorded pixels. It is also compatible with PictBridge, the industry standard for printing images from a digital camera without using a PC. Other features include a voice memo recorder that can store up to 30 seconds of sound, three colour mode settings (Standard, Black & White and Chrome), five Flash modes, 10 second self-timer capability, a 1.8″ LCD monitor and a rechargeable battery with an option to use AAA batteries should it run low.
The FinePix F420 comes with a16MB xD-Picture Card, rechargeable Lithium-Ion (NH-20) battery and charger, USB cable, AV cable, strap, USB driver, FinePix Viewer and ImageMixer VCD2 for FinePix. It is expected to be available from mid February at a recommended retail price of $699.
