Fujifilm has issued firmware updates for its GFX 50S, X-T100 and XF10 cameras and updated its bundled software to add support for the GFX 50R.
Firmware version 3.30 for the GFX 50S addresses the following issues:
1. Supports “35mm Format Mode” when using a GF Lens and the H mount adapter by cropping the centre of the sensor to 36.0 x 24.0 mm (30.5M) and recording JPEG and RAW files.
2. Reduces the time to switch between EVF and LCD when you select “eye-sensor” on the viewfinder display settings.
3. Supports simultaneous delete for RAW and JPEG files when RAW / JPEG is selected in the card slot setting (for still image). By selecting “OFF”, only the RAW image will be deleted.
4. Supports EVF and LCD colour adjustment from the screen setting menu. Click here to access the download page.
Firmware version 1.20 for the X-T100 improves the performance and stability of the main subject recognition function as well as the exposure compensation dial response. It also includes some minor defects fixes. Click here for details.
Firmware version 1.10 for the XF10 camera provides improvements for the performance and stability of the main subject recognition function and exposure compensation dial response. It also fixes a phenomenon in which the highlight warning doesn’t appear in INFO display and corrects some minor defects. It is available for downloading here.
Fujifilm has also added support for the new GFX 50R camera to its Raw File Converter EX 3.0 software, which is now in version 8.0.1.0, as well as in the new X Raw Studio version 1.5.0 update. Both are available for downloading on Fujifilm’s support pages.
