April 30, 2007: The Canson range of digital printing papers had been updated with a new generation of coatings that take advantage of the latest printer technologies and three new high-resolution photo papers have been added to the line-up.
Scheduled to go on display at this year’s PMA Imaging Technology Expo in Melbourne later this week, the new papers include:
Canson Digital Glossy 300 gsm, a new top-of-the-range heavyweight glossy paper that features micro-porous technology, making it very water-resistant and scratchproof. This new paper is targeted at photographers and artists who want inkjet prints with higher quality than the best silver-based photo papers.
Canson Digital Luster 300 gsm, a heavyweight paper with a new surface appearance that is subtly different from the traditional satin appearance. An attractive alternative to glossy paper for fine art digital photographers and ideal for wedding and portrait prints.
Canvas Digital XL 390 gsm, a large-format 60 inch canvas that has been tailored to meet the demands of fine art printers. It is very elastic to prevent cracking after it has been sewn and mounted on a frame. Its ecru back gives it the natural look that many exhibitors desire.
Canson Arches inkjet papers are distributed exclusively through Kayell Australia. For details of the range, visit www.kayellaustralia.com.au.
