September 29, 2009: Lowepro has released four new pouch designs that are made specifically for compact cameras.
The new Volta solid cases are made from moulded EVA foam to protect contents from bumps and scratches and feature a sculpted, modern finish. Each case has an interior slip pocket that can store a battery or memory card plus an integrated belt loop. Volta cases are available in three sizes, the Volta 10 (RRP $18.95), the Volta 20 (RRP $19.94) and the Volta 30 (RRP $21.95). Volta 10 and Volta 30 models offer a choice of three colours: silver, red and black. Volta 20 cases are only available in black.

Lowepro’s Varia 10 pouch (RRP $16.95) is offered in five fashionable colours: Raspberry, Black, Teal, True Blue and Red. Designed to fit small compact cameras, mobile phones, MP3 players or similar electronic devices, these pouches are made from stretchy neoprene and feature a detachable wrist strap plus a dual-zipper closure.

The latest addition to the D-Pods pouch family is the D-Pods 25, which is available in black and priced at $32.00 (RRP). Built for popular pro compact cameras (like the Canon G10 and the Nikon P6000), the D-Pods 25 is made from stretchy and protective neoprene and offers multiple carrying options. Each pouch contains a memory card slot on inside flap, a front pocket for batteries or small items and hook/loop closure for quick access, along with a detachable shoulder strap and integrated belt loop.

Offered in four colours with two attractive print designs, the Melbourne 10 pouch is available with Black Chainlink, Arctic Blue Chainlink, Fern Floral and Red Floral finishes. Each pouch has an RRP of $14.95 and is made from stretchy neoprene with smooth, single-zipper closures. A side loop allows the camera strap to be passed through to provide a convenient carrying handle.
