August 29, 2006: A group of recent AFTRS graduates has created the first music anime video entirely out of still images captured with a Canon EOS 5D digital still camera.
The team, which included cinematographer, Callan Green, has using a Cannon 5D digital stills camera producer, Matt Carter and director, Tahnee McGuire, produced a stop-motion, live animation film, using over 16,000 digital stills to promote the debut single “Lenore’s Song”, which was featured on the album “Spiked Soul” from Triple J Unearthed winner, Yunyu. All effects were created in camera with no digital post work. The music video was edited on an Apple Mac laptop G4 with the Final Cut Pro program. The video can be viewed online at www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzSstcvLmYM.
