The Prince of Wales Medical Research Institute is holding a photographic competition with the title “Memories: Faces of Dementia” to focus attention on the problem of dementia.

May 28, 2007: The Prince of Wales Medical Research Institute is holding a photographic competition with the title “Memories: Faces of Dementia” to focus attention on the problem of dementia.

The images submitted will be used in a media collage to be shown at the annual fundraising Food For Thought Dinner, this year called Caføƒ © de Paris. Three winners will receive prizes to the value of $3,850.00. Prizes will be awarded to entries with the most originality, creativity, technical excellence, creativity with impact (and even humour) together with relevance to the competition. While digital entries are encouraged, judging will be on the basis of photographic excellence and content, rather than digital photo illustration. Digital image manipulation is discouraged. All entries must have a minimum resolution of 300dpi.
Every entry must be accompanied by a completed entry form (one entry form per print or digital image on disc) plus $15 entry fee for each entry. Entries close Friday, 13 July 2007. Winners will be announced on Monday 30th July. For more information, visit www.powmri.edu.au.
