Manfrotto has released a new tripod that is compact, light and portable and ideal for travellers and photographers on the go.

Made from aluminium, the BeFree tripod weighs only 1.4 kilograms but can accept a payload of up to 4 kg. Befree is quick to set up and simple to use. New patented leg angle selectors provide two inclination options,  offering maximum versatility for camera positioning. The aluminium ball head is solid, quick and simple to operate. Sturdy aluminium leg locks provide a high degree of stability, even with longer zoom lenses.

The tripod’s legs fold around the head and quick release plate attachment (200PL), enabling it to be packed with a closed length of only 40 cm. Supplied with the tripod is a dedicated shoulder bag that is comfortable to carry but also packs easily into a suitcase of pack. RRP for the Manfrotto BeFree tripod is AU$250.
