April 14, 2008: L&P Digital Photographic has organised two day-long training sessions covering the use of flash equipment and continuous light sources in the studio and on location for photographing people and products.

The first session will take place on Saturday 17 May, while the second will be held on Saturday 21 June. Both sessions will run from 10 am to 3 pm at the Phase studio, 96 Reserve Road, Artarmon (Sydney). The cost of each workshop is $285. The following topics will be included:
1. How to ‘see’ light and control it.
2. Light sources for professional photography (flash, tungsten, fluorescent, etc.).
3. Light metering for accurate exposures.
4. Colour temperature.
5. Creating shape, mood and mystery with lighting.
6. Fill flash and bounce lighting.
7. Off-camera flash in the studio and on location.
