July 3, 2008: Lowepro has released a new series of camera bags, the Inverse AW series, which offers photographers two carrying options.
Available in two sizes, the Inverse 100 AW and 200 AW can hold a pro-style digital SLR with attached lens as well as extra lenses, flash units and accessories. Each model can be worn around the waist by snapping on the contoured mesh lumbar belt or carried as a shoulder bag with the detachable 360? swivel padded shoulder harness. The quick-access lid opens 180? making loading and retrieving gear from the padded and customisable main compartment simple. Both bags are built from water-resistant exterior materials and include a built in All Weather Cover to protect the contents from rain, snow and dust.

Locking straps on the underside of the belt pack are ideal for holding a tripod or rolled-up spray-jacket. The front compression system, with a zippered pocket and adjustable compression pulls, provides easy access to cables, adaptors, small accessories and personal items while allowing the pack to be customised to fit any body type. Under the quick access top, a Tricot-lined lid protects the LCD screen on the camera against abrasion. Dedicated memory card pockets are also provided.
Both bags include mesh side pockets for a water bottle or other personal items, silent pull zippers to reduce noise and SlipLock attachment loops for add-on accessories. The Inverse 100 AW has internal measurements of 23 x 14.2 x 21.2 cm, while the Inverse 200 AW measures 30.5 x 21.8 x 22.3 cm internally. Prices range from $99 to $119.
