January 10, 2011: Lowepro has launched their new Quick Case series, with a nod to traditional leather cases, and some new Lens Cases as well.
The Quick Cases 100 and 120 are a lightweight, instant-access design which gives a nod to traditional leather cases. A tough, impact-resistant shell envelops the camera and a built-in leash secures the case to the camera strap. To shoot, simply pull open the back flap (a strong magnetic closure) and raise the camera: the case remains suspended below. There is an interior mesh pocket, and a zippered accessory pocket at the bottom of the case for spare memory cards and batteries. The interior features thick padding with a soft lining fabric.
The Quick Case series is available from January 2011, in two sizes (black only). The Quick Case 100 (RRP $49) fits an ultra-zoom camera with a fixed lens attached, compact interchangeable lens (ILC), micro four-thirds or mirrorless camera; the Quick Case 120 (RRP $59) fits a DSLR with a standard kit lens.
Lenscases
The Lowepro Lens Cases are designed to protect your valuable lenses. Each is built using thick, one-piece foam padding inside a sturdy nylon casing. An OverLap Zipper protects from dust, sand and moisture, while a SlipLock attachment tab secures the cases to a compatible bag, loop or belt. A mesh pocket is located inside the lid to keep lens caps safe while the lens is in use.
Lowepro Lens Cases come in seven different sizes and are available in black from January 2011, with RRP ranging from $36 – $79. For more information visit www.maxwell.com.au
