August 14, 2007: A new website has been set up to help people who want to learn about photography locate appropriate training courses in their areas.
Developed by Paul Middleton, part-owner of the digital camera store, Camera-Warehouse, the site (www.Photography-Courses.com.au) aims to provide a point of communication between photography schools and prospective students. The schools, who often are too busy or lack the knowledge to take advantage of online promotion themselves, provide the details of their courses by registering on the site, thereby becoming instantly visible online.
Students search for suitable courses by location, level of difficulty or special interest topic. Places can be booked place directly on the site. If no suitable course is available, students can also provide the details of courses they’d like to attend to the schools in their area, keeping the schools constantly in touch with local needs, emerging trends and future opportunities.
