May 25, 2011: Leica Camera has released details of the V-Lux 30, a compact ‘travel-zoom’ model that’s scheduled for worldwide release from next month.
Almost identical to the Panasonic TZ20 (which we reviewed recently), the V-Lux 30 is supplied with Adobe’s Photoshop Elements 9 and Premiere Elements 9. Aside from this and some cosmetic adjustments to the camera’s body (notably the addition of the ‘red dot’ logo), both cameras have identical specifications. The V-Lux 30 goes on sale in Australia next month at an RRP of $849.
