Leica Camera Australia has signed on as Platinum Sponsors of the AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA).
The signing begins what is expected to be a long term partnership between a leading camera distributor and Australia’s primary professional photography association. It will see both photographic leaders combining to promote the art of photography and all of the experiences surrounding it. The AIPP has more than 3200 members from all areas of Australia with membership categories ranging from student member, to the ultimate membership, that of an Accredited Professional. Leica also supports professional photographers and emerging new talent around the world.
The sponsorship agreement will provide benefits for both parties, enabling the APPA to go from strength to strength with growing involvement of AIPP members and the continuing support of committed trade partners. Each year the APPA produces the most prestigious collection of photographic works from the best professional photographers in Australia. Leica will further enhance its prestige through association with APPA events.
