Leica Camera has released details of its latest medium format interchangeable-lens camera, the S3.

The announcement comes ten years after Leica Camera presented an entirely new medium format camera, the S2, and represents a significant improvement in features and capabilities. Developed in close collaboration with professional photographers, the Leica S3 expertly fulfils their particular needs with its exceptional picture quality and outstanding flexibility, paired with uncomplicated handling and extreme robustness. Key features include a Leica ProFormat sensor, with 64-megapixel resolution, high sensor sensitivity up to ISO 50,000 and the ability to record medium format Cine 4K video.
