Leica Camera is releasing a limited edition of its Leica M-P digital camera (Typ 240) in titanium, bundled with two lenses.

The set consists of a Leica M-P digital camera (Typ 240) and two lenses ““ a Leica Summicron-M 28 mm f/2 ASPH. and a Leica APO-Summicron-M 50 mm f/2 ASPH. It will be offered in a strictly limited edition of 333 pieces. For this special version of the Leica M-P the top deck, the baseplate and the control elements are machined from solid titanium and the model name in the classic Leica script is engraved on the top plate with a special edition serial number on the accessory shoe indicating the camera’s position in the series. The titanium anodised finish of the Summicron-M 28 mm f/2 ASPH. and APO-Summicron-M 50 mm f/2 ASPH. aluminium lenses is perfectly matched to the camera; the distances in feet on the focusing scale and the focal length engraving are picked out in red. Both lenses feature a special serial number. In the case of the Summicron-M 28 mm f/2 ASPH., this on the retaining ring of the front element and, on the APO-Summicron-M 50 mm f/2 ASPH., it is engraved on the bayonet ring.

The Leica M-P ‘TITANIUM’ Set is available from October in selected Leica Stores and Boutiques for an RRP   of AU$34,000.
