The deadline for submitting entries to the 2015 international Felix Schoeller Photo Award is 31 May 2015.
With prizes totalling €38,000, this is one of the richest awards in the German-speaking world. Prizes will be awarded in five categories: portrait, landscape/nature, architecture/industry, photojournalism/editorial photography, free choice/conceptual photography. Each category winner will receive €2,000. The winner of the Photo Award in Gold, which is worth €10,000, will be chosen from the category winners.
There is also a separate award for emerging photographic talent, with non-monetary prizes worth around €18.000. They will take the form of equipment lent by camera manufacturer Phase One.
Entries can be uploaded to www.felix-schoeller-photoaward.com. The awards ceremony will take place in early October and the exhibition of prizewinning work in Osnabrø¼ck’s Cultural History Museum will open at the same time.
