This year’s NAB Show in Las Vegas will see the launch of Laowa’s first Probe Zoom Macro lens, which is made in 15-35mm T12 and 15-24mm T8 configurations and will ship by 2025 Q3.

The new Probe Zoom features two focal lengths – 15-24mm T8 and 15-35mm T12 with four interchangeable front modules including the Direct View, Periscope, 35° View and 90° view. The 90-degree module is designed with a user-friendly 360° rotation mechanism while maintaining precise focus and zoom control. Both lenses also feature a 2.3x zoom range with a parfocal design and waterproof barrels that are 40 cm long, enabling users to penetrate difficult-to-reach environments. These lenses can be used for both stills and video capture in fields such as advertising, wildlife documentaries, and cinema production. Laowa’s Probe Zoom Macro lenses will be available to ship by 2025 Q3. The US Price for the Probe Zoom Macro 15-24mm T8 – Direct View lens is $3,499 and 15-35mm T12 – Direct View lens is 3,999.
