This September, the National Gallery of Victoria will present an exhibition of contemporary Australian photographs titled: Stormy Weather: Contemporary Landscape Photography.

 

July 19, 2010: This September, the National Gallery of Victoria will present an exhibition of contemporary Australian photographs titled: Stormy Weather: Contemporary Landscape Photography.
The 24 images displayed will be drawn entirely from the NGV Collection and include works by well-known Australian photographers Rosemary Laing, Harry Nankin, David Stephenson and Richard Woldendorp. Coinciding with the exhibition, the gallery will release an informative catalogue by curator, Dr Isobel Crombie exploring the recent history of landscape photography.
Stormy Weather: Contemporary Landscape Photography will be on display at The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia, Federation Square from 24 September 2010 to 20 March 2011. The gallery is open between 10am and 5pm Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays). Entry is free.
