Software developer, Kolor, has released version 3 of its image stitching and panorama creation software, Autopano Pro & Autopano Giga.
Autopano allows users to create high resolution panoramic images from tens, hundreds or thousands of individual pictures. Version 3 has been developed mainly to enhance the user experience, with revamped ergonomics and the ability to choose among different (and customisable) projection modes. Other additions include real-time manipulation of the images at full resolution and the ability to preview the final image before launching the rendering. The Giga version contains a selective anti-ghost mode that let the user select what is to be kept or discarded in the overlapping areas.
Autopano version 3 is available on the new Kolor Store and a demo version can be downloaded at http://www.kolor.com/download. The software is available in nine languages for 99 Euros (Autopano Pro) or 199 Euros (Autopano Giga). It is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux, including Windows 8 and Mac OS X Mountain Lion.
