June 3, 2008: Kodak has added two new models, the ESP 3 and ESP 5, to to its All-in-One inkjet printer range.
Both printers come with Kodak’s proprietary photo editing software feature: Facial Retouch. They also feature the latest in design and technology and Kodak claims they can save consumers up to 50 per cent on all their printing costs. The ESP 5 features a 3-inch colour LCD screen, multiple card and USB readers and one-touch, PC-free print, copy and scan functions. It is also the first of Kodak’s range of printers to carry an energy efficient rating.
Kodak’s new Facial Retouch editing software allows users to reduce the visibility of skin irregularities. The software automatically detects people in pictures and allows users control over which faces to retouch. With just one click, several enhancements are applied to improve the facial features of people in photos – including texture enhancer, skin tone smoothing, blemish removal, as well as subtle eye and teeth whitening, with up to four levels of intensity. Facial Retouch comes with the ESP 3 and ESP 5 printers, and is available as a free download from www.kodak.com.
The new Kodak ESP 3 and ESP 5 AiO inkjet printers will be available nationally from June1st and July 1st, respectively. The recommended retail price is A$159 for the ESP 3 and A$199 for the ESP 5. Full product details can be found at www.kodak.com.au.
