The new microSD UHS-I Speed Class 3 card supports 90MB/s read and 80MB/s write speeds that allow photographers ““ particularly sports and adventure enthusiasts ““ to record cinema-quality Full HD (1080p), Ultra HD (2160p), 3D and 4K2K videos on high performance small-form-factor devices such as action cameras and smart-phones. An SD card adapter is available to enable it to be used in regular cameras. Video clips at all resolutions up to 4K2K can be played without stutter or interruption, thanks to the fast read/write speeds, which also translate to faster file uploads for computer editing, especially when using USB 3.0 card readers.

Kingston’s SDCA3 is available as a stand-alone card or with an SD card adapter in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities. It is backed by a lifetime warranty and free technical support. Local pricing and availability have still to be confirmed. For more information, visit http://www.kingston.com/en/wheretobuy.
