With read speeds of 90MB/s and 80MB/s write speeds, the new cards can read up to 9x faster and write up to 8x faster than standard Class 10 SD cards. They also meet the SD Association’s latest specification release, UHS-I U3 (Ultra High-Speed Bus, Speed Class 3), which guarantees performance of at least 30MB/s and enough bandwidth to record

and playback 4K2K video without interruption. The new cards can be used in DSLR and CSC cameras and camcorders for recording cinema-quality Full HD (1080p), Ultra HD (2160p), 3D and 4K2K video movies. Their higher sustained write speeds ensure video integrity by reducing stutter and allow photographers to shoot in continuous burst mode. They are also  ideal for TV recordings as well as live broadcasts and provides faster upload times to let users edit files faster, especially when using USB 3.0 card readers.

The new cards will be offered 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities. They are backed by a ‘lifetime’ warranty and free technical support. Details can be found at http://www.kingston.com/us/flash/sd_cards#sda3.
