Bookings have opened for three Kayell workshops that will take place early in the New Year.
Food Photography and Styling is a one-day workshop held by multi-award winning commercial photographer, Nuran Zorlu, on Sunday 5 February in Kayell’s premises at 30 Whiting Street, Artarmon NSW 2064. The main focus of this workshop is choosing the right angles and elements of composition for capturing the character of the food and how to enhance the photograph using lighting techniques. Nuran will be working with his wife, Christine, a food stylist. The workshop begins at 10:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm. It costs $159.00 and is limited to 16 people. Refreshments and lunch are provided. Condensed versions of the popular Fine Art Printing workshops run by master printer, Les Walkling, will be run in Sydney and Melbourne in February. Each workshop is limited to 16 participants and will cost $139. The Melbourne workshops will be held in Kayell’s premises at 108 Johnston Street, Collingwood 3066 between 7:00 and 9-9:30 pm on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 February. The Sydney workshops take place in Kayell’s premises at 30 Whiting Street, Artarmon NSW 2064 on Tuesday 21 February between 6:30 and 9:00 pm and Wednesday 22 February from 10:00 am to midday. A one-day, hands-on workshop on The Art of Nude Photography will be conducted by Cam Attree M.Photog II AIPP at Leylandagreen, 591 Kangaloon Road Glenquarry, Bowral NSW 2576 on 11 March. This grand Country Estate is set on 12 acres of English style parkland with a swimming pool and tennis court set within gardens, trees and hedging. The workshop starts at 10.00 am and ends at 4.00 pm and is limited to 24 participants. The cost is $495.
