Joby has released a portable tripod that supports almost any smart-phone, both with and without its protective case.

Designed with a durable steel inner frame and zinc alloy legs, the GripTight Micro Stand includes silicone feet that can provide additional stability on uneven surfaces. An aluminium mini ball head helps position the camera for the best perspective. The stand weighs only 20 grams and packs up small enough to slip into a pocket and can also be attached to a key chain. Manufactured in black, it accepts devices between 54 mm and 72 mm wide with weights up to 250 grams. It has an RRP of AU$29.95 and is available through specialist retailers.
