April 1, 2005: An exhibition of photographs by one of Australia’s best sports photographers, Jack Atley, will run for two weeks from April 5, 2005 at Maunsell Wickes Gallery,19 Glenmore Rd, Paddington, Sydney.
Atley will be showcasing photographs taken durign the four years when he travelled with the Australian cricket team. Since his work was profiled in Photo Review magazine Issue 6, Atley has become well-known as a media personality, hosting an entertaining half hour radio show on leading Sydney radio station 2GB, as part of “The Good Life” with Murray Wilton (7.30pm every Tuesday) for the past 12 months. Atley is also set to star in a new half hour pay television show called “Digital Snap” on the “How To” Foxtel Channel. Commencing April 14, 2005, the show will air at 7.30pm on Thursday nights for 6 weeks. The series includes segments on how to improve your photography of kids, weddings, people, sport and cars.
