ioShutter Released

Claimed as ‘the world’s best shutter release cable’, ioShutter cables are available for Canon, Hasselblad, Pentax and Samsung cameras, with Nikon soon to follow.
 
The 90 cm ioShutter cable runs from the headphone jack to the camera’s remote input and is driven by an app that comes in two versions: Lite and Pro. Both versions include timer, Bulb, time-lapse, sound triggering and Shake-to-Take functions. The Lite version provides only basic facilities while the Pro version’s are much wider and more flexible. The ioShutter app features an in-app feedback tab to enable users to provide feedback to enlight (the product developer) to drive future improvements. A  wireless plugin is targeted for release in mid-to-late 2012 that will link two iOS devices running ioShutter, one of which is plugged into the camera.
